Join us on Sunday Feb 23rd at 2pm at the Downtown Library to learn more about the movement towards healthcare for all. The Medicare for All Townhall will create a space to advocate for the improvement of our health system - so that all have accesss to quality care. Healthcare is a human right, not a privilege. Come to learn more and share resources on the fight to ensure healthcare is for the people, and not for profiting off of our pain. We will have speakers from Healthcare for All Ohioans, a group fighting for universal healthcare for more than 20 years in Ohio, and are supporting the Ohio Health Care Plan to bring single-payer healthcare to Ohio, as well as Physicians for a National Health Program. There will as well be speakers working within and affected by our broken health system. Together we can learn how to advocate for our right to healthcare, and to speak on behalf of those without a voice in marginalized communities. We need your voice in this fight. We all know someone affected by our broken system. Let's build a future where people, not profits, are protected,

In Kentucky, this year's Amendment 2 would change the state constitution to allow the allocation of public funds towards private schools, another in a frightening trend of attacks on public education across the US. Kentucky's Republican super-majority state legislature tried establishing a school voucher program in 2021, but the Kentucky Supreme Court struck it down as unconstitutional in December 2022.
